NO APRIL MTG-SHREDDING EVENT 4/27

Good Evening Amity Township! I just wanted to let everyone know that our April meeting has been cancelled. There is a church service that evening and the fellowship hall will be in use for church purposes. We will meet again on May 16, 2019 at 7:30 PM. More information will be forthcoming about that evening’s program.

Don’t forget about the free shredding event that will be held at Redners Parking lot on Saturday April 27th from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. It is open to residents and small businesses. We will have two trucks available this year – we cannot accept cardboard boxes. You will have to take your boxes back home with you. We will have volunteers on hand to help dump your shredding items into the containers. The line gets long quickly, so plan to come early. As always, donations are accepted to help defray the costs of the two trucks and are greatly appreciated.

Just a reminder, we are looking for new members for Crime Watch. We need additional members to help patrol our township and be the extra “eyes and ears” of the police department. We all need to help support our police department in any way we can. Being a member of Crime Watch does not take a lot of time out of your schedule and you set your own time to go out on patrol. Come out to one of our meetings and find out what we do – you may find out that this is something you would really enjoy. We have a great group of people for you to meet!
