On Thursday September 20,2007 at approx. 11:10 pm. I, Officer Gauby, received an Assignment to respond to the 600 Block of Old Swede Road for a suspicious male knocking on peoples doors asking for gas because he ran out of gas in his vehicle,. The person is described as a white, male, medium build, late 30's, brown hair, hazel eyes, driving a older model blue Jetta.

            I want to make residents aware of this is because after I spoke with this male, I later found out from one of the local police departments that he has been scamming people for gas to put in his car because he does not have any money. This male is from the Birdsboro area.

           If anyone has someone fitting this description stopping at their home and asking for gas, please call 911 and give the 911 operator a direction of travel because this male is driving with a suspended license.
